Very enjoyable vacation at a superb location and resort.

The facilities and staff were excellent.

Whilst the Tom’s were comfortable and clean, they did feel a little dated.

What was the highlight of Sandals Barbados

This was a once in a lifetime experience which did not fail to deliver. The people made it!

There were so many different restaurants to choose from and therefore it never became 'samey' The choice and quality of food was excellent, healthy and fresh - the team did a great job and the service was excellent.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like - the staff were exceptional, happy and made the experience. The choice of pools, beach, places to sit and relax, eat, drink and just be was amazing. The effect of the holiday has remained with us going back into reality..which speaks volumes. Still living on the memories!

If your doing a short stay be prepared to not be able to book some of the key restaurants

clean and tidy place with everything close by , nice room as well with great view

some staff weren't on it . some where, but some were rude and surly . Concierge service when we arrived wasn't that helpful. Got the feeling that they haven't got to where they were pre pandemic and might be struggling to find staff that want to be there .

I loved how close everything was. you didn’t have to leave the property, everything you needed was there

was ok but not what would be expected of a sandals 5star resort

all inclusive, transfers from airport, good size resort

staff seemed not interested in customers always had to queue for breakfast, lunch and dinner despite their being unoccupied tables couldn’t get good times at the restaurants that required bookings subbed availability as all beachfront were pre-reserved by those in butler service.

Had the most wonderful holiday and would happily return.

I went on holiday with my friend and we had such wonderful stay at Sandals. It was even better than we expected. The main thing for us was how good the service was- everywhere we went the staff were so friendly and helpful :) Coming from London I am a little fussy when it comes to food but everything was fresh and so good with plenty of options. Both resorts were next to each other giving ample space to walk around, explore with plenty of bar/ restaurant options. Susan in particular was fab who served us a few times at Neptunes and the french restaurant. We also loved the sky bar and had some very fun evenings with excellent cocktails made my Shaquile and Larkan- who also provided plenty of entertainment!

Sometimes it was a little hard to find a sunbed by the infinity pool and had to wake up early to be able to get one. Also thought that Schooners restaurant should be option as a lunch option too as it is a beach side restaurant with very good fish options- we had dinner here twice as we really enjoyed it but would have been nice during the day time too. Sky bar needs to have music in the evenings and entertainment in the evenings could be better- main stage could have better live shows.

great fun, just fix the towel reserving on the beach and pool please and update your gym

view from the room overlooking the pool and the sea, choice of restaurants, staff,

by 6.30am butlers would be putting towels on all the beds by the pool and the front beds on the beach irrespective if people did not turn up until midday - awful awful! gym needs modern equipment

Excellent and would return

It is a stunning property with beautiful gardens. Drinks are internationally branded and the bar staff are always ready to please. We enjoyed the food and the speciality restaurants The spa bath on the balcony is really worth having as is an ocean view room.

It is a minor criticism but the pick-up at the airport was a bit slow and disorganised. Our reception at the resort was not very impressive. Some of the staff require better training.

Two resorts in one! Fabulous holiday Sandals Barbados is luxury in paradise

This is one huge resort with 2 names Sandals Barbados & Sandals Royal Barbados - there is no divide guests use all facilities the Royal accommodation may be modern but who stays in their room much in Barbados! We had club level penthouse ocean view amazing! Fabulous view room was large spacious had fabulous large soaking tub overlooking ge ocean. Food at all restaurants very high standard staff amazing entertainment could be improved but it's difficult to find fault with a 6* double resort in Barbados! We travelled around the island so its accessible. Advice would be dont book expensive accommodation or think swim ups exclusive book accommodation at Sandals Barbados but enjoy all the facilities of the Royal. The pools are well kept, the gardens are incredible, the beach (December) was so clean picture perfect. No need to do external boat trips as Sandals does them free!

The resort is quite excellent!

The resort is quite excellent! Sandals Barbados is right on a fantastic beach with inclusive water sports and includes Hobie Cats, snorkeling, wind surfers, etc. The resort also has a superb Dive Centre for certified divers and those who want to learn. All the Dive staff are excellent and they really know their stuff. Royal Sandals is right next door and is fully accessible to all Sandals guests, so it was like being in two different resorts at the same time. The only thing you can't do there is sleep and it's only a two minute walk! There is a bowling alley, lots of excellent restaurants and many swimming pools to choose from. I can't say enough good things about the Sandals experience.

Just one negative which I should mention. If you have been to a Sandals resort elsewhere, i.e. Jamaica, you will know that the company prides itself on exceeding customer expectations. Sandals are indeed an excellent company and we have booked again for our next trip, but not in Barbados. Most of the staff in Barbados are very polite and courteous, however, there are a few 'bad apples' working in the restaurants and especially in café de Paris. They are really disinterested, confrontational and rude. I came across this on more than one occasion and I've heard from other guests they too had a similar issue with a few of the restaurant staff. Management need to 'mystery shop' their resort and watch for those who provide poor customer relations - it only takes one confrontational team member to ruin a 5 star vacation. That said, it is very isolated and most of the Sandals team were outstanding.

An absolute paradise

Sandals Barbados exceeded our expectations. The service was amazing, the room was clean (I’m very picky with that), and the food was spectacular. It was paradise.

There really wasn’t anything. Maaaaaybe if I’m being ridiculously picky, one of the pendant light shades in the room we were in needs replacing. But that’s it.

The gardens in the older site were lovely - we especially enjoyed the soaking tub on the balcony

Because all beaches in Barbados are public the sunbeds were all in many rows - the beach in front of the 2 resorts is not that long

Had a lovely stay and enjoyed our holiday. Would go back in a heartbeat!

The room was superb swim up crystal lagoon club room as was the hotel facilities. The beach was lovely but had a massive flow of seaweed, which affected what should have been azure blue, plus was a red flag all the time we were there. But still a nice place to relax. All of staff friendly except for club room team, where you would have expected better service. Would still return as had a lovely holiday.

Seaweed beach and red flag for sea. But out of anyone’s control Mother Nature. Staff at club lounge at hotel very rude and unhelpful. This is a service they say where you will be pampered and taken care of. But they were rude unhelpful and made to feel as if we were putting them out. They should take a lesson from the restaurant and manual staff who were always happy and keen to help.
